Bueno...
Hace varios anhios pense que seria interesante investigar y hacer algo ciencia y aplicacion de esta en la vida diaria. Creo que en el 2005 intente hacer algo con el CONEIS ... Luego el 2006 me dedique a avanzar en los cursos y senti en carne propia lo duro que es tratar de investigar en cursos muy monoliticos y que necesitaban mas horas fuera de clases que dentro para conocer cosas nuevas e innovadoras. Que decir de pensar en algo que sea original.
En el 2007 me atrevi a volver a hacerlo con participacion de algunos amigos. Luego volvi a asomar mi interes por el proyecto OLPC que era una revolucion para ese momento. Claro con todo la trama de corrupcion que tiene en el PAIS(Garrido Leca, El ministro Chang con tricas y Alan que seguro no tiene email.). Dedique casi dos Anhios a este para hacer mi tesis. Sacrifique el GSoC. Perdi muchas cosas... Y gane otras mucho reconocimiento. Estas ultimas dos semanas me dedique a mover mis papeles de la universidad y tambien intentar ver lo del GSoC ... Pero otra vez mis torpezas impidieron hacer eso... me doy ahora una semana para mandar 2 poster que me aceptaron en hcii 2009 y intentar en otros dos ... vere algo .. solo tengo poco tiempo.

Webcam head tracking in immersive 3d environment

This video shows my approach to combine OpenCV head tracking with a 3d OpenGL environment so that the user will see objects from their head's point of view. Since headtracking is 2d, no depth information is obtained. Besides that, it takes around 200ms for the face recognition algorithm, which gives a low refresh rate. I'm currently trying to improve that.

InterCom.Día.02:Mi.Expo...Comida.:(..OLPC..Zikula
Como íbamos... así.
No hay inet en la UPAO inalambrica. Esta cerrada por falta de clases. Pero si es posible jalarse una cable suelto por allí por donde se dan los documentos :P.
Luego del pollazo me puse a ver tv... No!!! puedo perderme a China...la semana en history ... ta bacan.. Pero creo que muy subjetivo.Eso que China se invento todos los canales.
Luego de dormir intranquilo (extraño el llanto de bebe)... Me levante varias veces...y a eso de las 5am empiezo a terminar mis diapositvas. Me acorde que no tengo access point. Tampoco inet asi que se frego la presentación del demo.
Ni modo. Me hizo compañia un compa Mecatronico hasta que al ver que no venían los jurados se quito en busca de su pc para desarrollar el C#. Solo sin público.. Abandonado a mi suerte...:(... Expuse con lo que pude. Salí al ruedo a las 9am. Mi Laptop se comporto bien como esa dama que a la vejez tiene desgano al levantarse, pero cumple su rol como debe.
El jurado una colombiana y un egresado de UPAO.
Mi Tema : Test de Usabilidad Para Evaluación de las Laptos Para Niños.
Durante 20 min expuse... creo... creo ...creo ...que la hice...NO ABURRI Juas...
Vamos sikula tengo 13 días como para avanzar bien el proyecto... En UPAO no tengo ningún punto de internet... libre y el SVN no se puede usar :(
Mi asesoría de tesis está corriendo y la Rosa Espinoza debe de obtener su titulo el día 22 de agosto si o sí.

Concurso de Intercom
Ya que mi proyecto participara en el intercom... Espero terminar para el día sabado todo el material e ir a exponerlo bien por allá... Estaré por allá los días 4 al 8 de agosto :O... Derrepente me cruzo la gente de CONEI

GSoC :: Última Oportunidad....
Programare el pnForm ... será mi última oportunidad... No he logrado completar satisfactoriamente muchas cosas del Projecto. Inclusive la gigantesca cantidad de código me hizo perder tiempo valiosísimo en este tema.
Hable con Steffen y me dará esta última oportunidad .... no escribiré ni vere mas mis cursos hasta mediados del domingo. Para descansar y concentrarme de lleno en mis cursos... aún si zikula no me evalua positivamente....
